Courtyard music

Historic New Orleans Collection’s latest music event.
Quartering
After giving up on my attempt to see two great women performers on (rainy) Thursday FQF, (Irma Thomas and Susan Cowsill) I instead met up with FQ friend and headed to Domenica at The Roosevelt for their popular Happy Hour half price pizzas and wine. A great treat to eat their excellent food, whether rainy or sunny.
I can highly recommend the Cotechino pizza (pork sausage, scallions & tomatoes.)
On Friday, made it to the festivities. I stopped to see friend Chip Wilson playing at Kerry Irish Pub; Remember, not all of the music is on the street!
Then to Jackson Square which I think is one of the best stages (besides the Royal Street stages and now I want to see the Ursuline Convent stage! Only in New Orleans…)
A local favorite, Vaucresson Crawfish Sausage poboys are still to be found at our local festivals thank you.
Once again, a truck (in violation of the law) will end up doing some damage to historic buildings.
